Move List[attr="class","plist"] CustomMoveNone for Now. Purchase from the Site Shop. | ABILITY[attr="class","plist"] ProteanAn ability in which the user's type changes depending the move used giving said move a boost in power. Depending on the type of bubbles that typically surround the Froakie's body changes color. For example, if the Froakie uses a fire move they turn red. This would be similar to the color changes Arceus undergoes with its plates. |
[attr="class","plist2"] Hydro PumpThe user fires a powerful blast of high pressured water that easily destroys rock and stone. [break][break] Ice BeamThe user fire off an energy beam which harness the power of ice at a target. This move might inflict freeze on the target. The part of the target's body that gets hit freezes as the rest of the body in gradually encased in ice. [break][break] Hidden PowerA mysterious attack that's effect changes depending on the pokemon that uses it. The user is shrouded in a bright white aura and then release the energy outward towards its opponent. [break][break] DigThe user dives into the ground, going deep within the earth's crust navigating through the earth before resurfacing and striking their target. [break][break] Camouflage The user morphs and changes color in order to better blend in with its background around them, essentially turning invisible. [break][break] Extreme Speed A move that Strider learned after extensive training with Isaac's Arcanine back in Ecruteak. The user moves at blinding speeds at a target, seemingly disappearing as they do so, unleashing a barrage of high-speed attacks. Strider as his own little flair to it by creating a little water kunai but this does not change the effect of the move in any sort of way purely an aesthetic thing. |

WHO'S THAT POKEMON?
WHO'S THAT POKEMON?
[attr="class","afform"]
While living in Ecruteak City one of Isaac’s many jobs was working at a Pokémon shelter. There he helped take care and look after a wide variety of Pokémon. He’d make sure they were getting properly fed, exercised, the whole deal. Isaac enjoyed his job quite a lot as it let him work with Pokémon and do some good.
[break][break]
Within that line of work you saw all sorts of Pokémon and people come in and out, not all of which came in under the greatest of circumstances. He ended up seeing a lot during his time working there which has definitely influenced his worldview.
[break][break]
There was one particular case, a group of Pokémon causing trouble in Ecruteak, that Isaac was involved with that had a huge effect on the man’s life. For several weeks a group of Pokémon consisting of some wild and some abandoned was wreaking havoc all around the city.
[break][break]
They’d get into fights with other Pokémon, trainers and even attack lone humans for wandering onto their turf. If they were picking fights they were destroying property, stealing from people and being overall nuisances. This group was led by a rather uppity Froakie, who reveled in its chaos weaving.
[break][break]
Since the police were having their own issues catching these troublemakers Isaac decided to volunteer himself to help take care of the problem. So with the help of his trusted Arcanine, the duo helped the effort in stopping this terror crew and their reign of terror.
[break][break]
It was quite an interesting experience for Isaac as it was like looking into a mirror dealing with this Froakie. It was a brash, cocky, pain in the ass that acted like it was too cool for school and everyone was beneath it. It wasn’t surprising to see why the frog felt that way; there wasn’t anyone who was able to stop it or its gang….until Isaac.
[break][break]
It was easy for Isaac to anticipate their next moves and make plenty of countermeasures to screw them over. That and his more experienced Pokémon made it easy for the Froakie’s crew getting dismantled, leaving the frog boss the last standing member.
[break][break]
After a few skirmishes, Isaac finally managed to capture the damn thing. Seeing how well he managed to wrangle the mons Isaac was in charge of finding them new proper homes and training them which he was successful with every one of them except the Froakie.
[break][break]
It seemed only interesting in Isaac and proving its superiority over the trainer given its hurt pride over losing to him. After some time, and a lot of fighting, the two eventually became close and Isaac decided he’d be the one to take in the Froakie. It was an easy choice, no one else wanted to deal with its attitude. And what a great pair they made!
[break][break]
Strider’s cool calm and collected attitude meshed well with Isaac’s more energetic and fun loving one. Both were as competitive as they pushed each other hard to better themselves in their endeavors, especially battling so the two train quite a bit. It made way too much sense to bring Strider with him to SEA.
[break][break]
Strider is a classic case of Mr. Cool, Calm and Collected so much so that one might be surprised that this Froakie was in charge of a gang of delinquents. In the Froakie’s time with his trainer, he has mellowed out quite a bit. That doesn’t mean his skills from those days are gone if anything they are even sharper.
[break][break]
A keen-eyed rogue much like his trainer, Strider beats to his own drum and is quite the adventurous type. He still has a bit of a mischievous streak and while he acts all cool he enjoys showing off his skills as well as honing them.
[break][break]
Despite what might seem like a loner attitude Strider is quite protective of his allies and friends and is actually sociable, he just probably won’t go out of his own way unless he already knows you. A bit of a risk taker, Strider enjoys pushing himself and taking on challenges, especially daunting ones.
