[attr="class","plist2"] CrunchMordre's large jaws snap down on an opponent with fierce and crushing force. Sometimes, it leaves behind torn, exposed flesh or its equivalent that lowers the target’s guard against physical moves on particularly vigorous assaults. [break][break] Play RoughPlayfully roughhousing with the target, it sometimes is disarming enough to decrease the target's offensive power. Mordre finishes the roughhousing with a damaging bite from her jaws. [break][break] Iron HeadHer steely jaws gain a more metallic sheen to them as they harden further than her normal body. She then slams these far hardened jaws into an target, usually aiming for the head. Sometimes it causes an target to flinch away, making it easier for her to dodge their next attack. [break][break] Magnet RiseMagnetizing her steel body with internal electricity, this move merely causes Mordre to levitate for a time. Over time she learned how to move while levitating like this, so she can dodge and attack as normal. This keeps her away from the ground and moves associated with it for roughly five posts. [break][break] Sucker PunchJust before a target can attack, Mordre lunges forward and slams her steely jaws into them in a surprise attack. [break][break] Aqua JetMordre inherited a rather strange mutation as it turned out her mother was a Vaporeon. After years of training, Mordre learned how to harness water using this mutated gland to launch herself forward at speeds that render her nearly invisible. This attack slams herself and the water into the target with such force that her steel typing is the only thing preventing her from being harmed as well. |

It is a very rare day when Mordre does not do her special brand of complaining about being hungry at least once. She is perfectly capable of getting food for herself, but complaining tends to have the benefit of riling up anyone nearby; something that is rather good for curing boredom. Despite her puckish fairy nature for stirring up others, she behaves like an angel when tagging along with Alex to classes or other important events. She would make Alex herself the target of much puckish behavior, but having grown up together Alex seems utterly immune to Mordre's attempts to rile her up.
[break][break]
◈ Her jaws get rather bitey when she is hungry, and gives her a habit of chewing on nearby furniture.

Mordre's eyes are a fierce red in color, with a piercing stare.
[break][break]
Due to her age and battling experience, Mordre is noticeably larger than the average Mawile. She is still not tall enough to open doors on her own—without the use of Magnet Rise anyway. A single thin scar runs vertically up her left arm. This is a result of an early battle in the entrance exams where she was pitted against a rather aggressive Lairon. Her confident air is easy to tell from her usual posture. She stands to her full height, trying to tower over everyone despite being shorter than most of those around her. With instruction from Alex when they were both much younger, Mordre picked up the habit of brushing the fangs of her large jaws, keeping the teeth a pearly white color.

Born at a breeding facility in Kalos, she barely remembers her short time there. Only a few days after hatching, she was put into a Pokeball. The next thing she knew she was standing before a little girl who squealed and grabbed hold of her. Having not a clue what was going on or the things that were being said by the human there, she was soon pulled over toward a table stacked up with colorful boxes and something that seemed to be called 'cake'. The girl gave her some of it, and she quickly decided she really liked this cake stuff. She was rather confused by what was going on, but the girl seemed nice so she kept close to her. Gradually she realized whenever she heard 'Mordre' they were referring to her. When the girl also seemed to refuse to put her back in the weird ball it just cemented her want to stay near her.
[break][break]
Days went by, and gradually Mordre started to gain an understanding that this was now her home and these humans were apparently her family now. At least, that's how the girl kept putting it. She didn't quite get the point of the whole name thing, but she did find having one oddly nice. The girl had one too, Alex, and Alex spent a lot of time teaching her all about the home they lived in and how one was expected to behave. She didn't exactly know what this 'school' thing Alex talked about was, but apparently she had to stay home while Alex went there. Alex also seemed to insist on making sure she knew how to properly behave for a good while as well.
[break][break]
At the end of the next summer she finally learned her friend's reason for that as she was carted off to attend this 'school' thing alongside Alex. The presence of other kids was interesting, and quite tempting for her to play tricks on them. She didn't though, remembering all the time Alex spent teaching her how to behave. Alex was nice, and she didn't want to make her friend unhappy. Even her parents started to warm up to her after she started going to school as well, and while much of what the children were learning was confusing to the Mawile, she did manage to pick up on a few basic concepts over time.
[break][break]
Things continued like this for a time, until Alex decided to confront some boys with a rather aggressive looking Poochyena trying to fight a smaller boy and his little Pichu. Mordre could only give Alex a look of shock and disbelief as she volunteered her to battle the canine. She resisted the urge to bite her though. So far everything the duo had done had always turned out for the better, so why not now as well?
[break][break]
As the battle started she began to doubt her previous self assurance as the Poochyena kept landing hits on her. She started to get a feel for how to dodge though, and the encouragement from Alex pushed her to keep at it. It took a few tries but she started to figure out how to use some of those special attacks humans always went on about. After that, the battle quickly turned in her favor, and the adrenaline kicked in as well. It was rather fun, and Mordre was finding herself very glad that Alex had agreed to this.
[break][break]
With the battle won, Mordre was quickly looking forward to the next chance she could get for one. Alex seemed to pick up on this without much prodding, and soon they started going to actual battling events. Because of their age the two were stuck in battles that were not allowed to get nearly as intense as she would want. She kept feeling disappointed in these battles, and whenever they could go for a bigger challenge she would insist on it - which usually involved annoyingly gnawing on Alex's leg until she agreed.
[break][break]
And so their routine turned into a mix of battles, training, and school. Mordre continued to go with her, even through high school. While most of what the students were learning in class was far too complex for her to grasp, she did end up learning a good deal more than anyone would expect. The basics of numbers proved useful for rather mundane reasons, though it seemed humans took that knowledge for granted and never really noticed when she showed any knowledge of them.
[break][break]
While Alex applied herself to learning things that were apparently more complex than the standard learning at school, Mordre applied herself to further training whenever she could. Though Alex did attempt to explain various things she was learning whenever the Mawile would show any interest in her studies. She was a good person, and she was quite glad to have met her.
[break][break]
Eventually Alex graduated from school, and the school even recognized how diligently well behaved Mordre always was, as she got one of those paper things all the students got as well. She didn't really get the significance of it, but it did mean the big exam thing Alex had been going on about for the past few years would be coming up soon. It took longer than expected, but eventually the two were able to take the exams. Mordre was utterly bored during the written portion Alex had to do, and ended up taking a nap at her feet.
[break][break]
And then the battles started. She was thrilled. Now she actually got to fight harder than at any of the previous spars she had been in. Those events had no right being called battles compared to these exams. The competition was fierce and challenging, and while the duo didn't win all the battles, they did win enough to pass. One of the loses left the Mawile with a scar up her arm, and the Lairon had been rather smug about the whole ordeal. She grew to dislike the species as a whole after that.
