Move List[attr="class","plist"] CustomMoveNone for Now. Purchase from the Site Shop. | ABILITY[attr="class","plist"] GutsWhen afflicted with a status ailment of some kind, energy flares through Asta's body, invigorating his muscles and fueling him with strength. With a crimson aura encasing him and a ominous glow in his eyes, the physical power of his attacks increase greatly. |
[attr="class","plist2"] PURSUITAsta launches himself at the target with a sudden burst of speed, slamming his body into them in a full on charge. It's particularly good for flagging down evasive opponents, using their attempts to get away against them and scoring double the impact. [break][break] Stone EdgeWith a slam of his foot to the ground, several jagged, glowing blue stone pillars erupt from the surface of the ground. Asta is able to control the manner in which they appear, be it in a trailing in a line, having it erupt abruptly underneath the target, or using it as a more defensive means. Due to its abrupt and fast nature, it tends to land critical blows more easily. [break][break] DIGIn a span of mere seconds, Asta can disappear underneath the ground and strike the target upon resurfacing. Great for evasive/defensive tactics or combing it with another of his moves, as long as the opponent remains on the ground {or is making enough noise} he can locate them without help. He can burrow through most surfaces without harm, but, sometimes that isn't the...best option. [break][break] SANDSTORMAsta's eyes flash a bright, causing intense winds filled with sand to whip about for five posts. Great for impairing the senses of others, any who aren't of rock/steel/ground typing take damage the longer they stay out in the weather as the relentless wind filled with grainy sand suffocates them and winds tirelessly beats against them. Additionally, protected by his natural affinity to such weather, Asta's thick armor becomes more durable whilst the sandstorm rages. His defensive power towards special attacks increases considerably. [break][break] BULK UPWith a fearsome roar, a deep red aura glows over Asta's body. The dark holes on his body briefly glow, as his armored body seems to glaze over for a moment, as if refreshed from the sudden intake of energy. This sudden surge of adrenaline grants Asta a boost in his defensive ability and strength. Not a move typically possessed by his kind, the urge to commit his all for the sake of battling for his trainer provoked the larvitar to inheriting such a skill. [break][break] Draining KissA...rather odd move for a larvitar, but, one that befits his sweet-hearted personality none the less. Likely learned, from spending a week with an acquaintance of Vivian's who possessed a Sylveon, he surprised them all when performing such an attack. Sauntering up to his target, a swift kiss is all he needs, draining their energy and, in turn, gaining it for himself. Great for a surprise attack because...really, who expects to be kissed in the midst of battle? |

WHO'S THAT POKEMON?
WHO'S THAT POKEMON?
[attr="class","afform"]
Only a few weeks into working for her 'mentor', Vivian came across this larvitar. Across his chest, he bore a cross shaped scar. A painful injury at one point, definitely. But, he wasn't dead yet...and a survivor was always a surefire sign of a fighter. And that was exactly what Vivian wanted. Tucked away into the corner of underground sewers, the teen wondered who in their right mind would let a pokemon as rare and potentially strong as this go to waste and not use it within the crooked sport. And, almost abruptly, she figured out why.[break][break]
He was a 'no good'. A dud. Putting it simply, a failure. [break][break]
Crouching nearby, the small, yet unreasonably heavy, pokemon she ushered to him, only to be met with a fearsome glower. Now that, that was good. It made her smirk, it made her feel as though she might've actually found something to help her get farther along in this dark business than just a 'delivery girl'. Taking a half-eaten candy bar from her pocket, Vivi threw it at him, and it ended up hitting the pokemon none too gently and squarely in the head. She wanted to see some sort of fire from the thing, she wanted to see him snap and see what sort of 'fighter' he actually was.[break][break]
After sniffing and testing the sweet treat, the larvitar just sorta...huddled up onto her, clinging onto her leg as though she were his long lost mother. What she expected to get a few bruises or bites from the encounter ended up with her having a painfully annoying, overly friendly rock monster hugging into her leg, regardless of how much she cursed or kicked at him. He looked so...happy whilst cuddling up to her, and each time he was forcibly rolled away, he chased on after the fleeing girl.[break][break]
Someone saw her troubles and merely laughed. "Better pray to arceus the annoying little shit leaves you be. Someone paid a pretty penny for him from some fancy, well-off breeder. What a mistake that was. Lost time and time again. That things been bounced around from trainer to trainer down here, sold for lower and lower until the damn thing's free to anyone who wants to put up with him. He's useless. He's defected, a no good. You wanna know what he does in the middle of a fight?" [break][break]
The man released a drapion that loomed over the tiny pokemon. The larvitar only beamed, attempting to hug onto the poisonous ogre scorpion before he was sent tumbling backwards with a Poison Tail to the head. It was...a very sorry sight. A pokemon known for its fierceness that lacked a mean bone in its body; no wonder it was terrible in a place like this. But...she had worse things to worry about than an unwanted pet. And so, Vivian left him there.[break][break]
Although...that wasn't the last time she saw him. For as often as she came here, she often saw the larvitar wandering about, trying his hardest to get the attention of any who even looked in his direction. Why he stayed in a harsh place like this was beyond her. For one reason or another, Vivian always tossed whatever crap she had in her pockets to him. Leftover candy, an apple, you name it. And, like a cat, the larivtar was drawn to her. He adamantly stared seeking her out instead of pathetically standing in the corner, trying to 'win over' any trainer that passed him by.[break][break]
And, as much as she hated to admit it, the stupid thing was growing on her. From presenting her with various rocks he found whenever he saw her, to always greeting her with such...stupidly vibrant happiness. It was exhausting. But, it wasn't...terrible. It wasn't often someone was actually glad to see her, after all. Occasionally, the girl was ridiculed for putting up with the larvitar, for admittedly caring for him. Sometimes, she'd be seen putting a bandage on his head from where some idiot had thrown something at him or giving into his clingy nature and offering him a pat or two. Of course, any who decided to actually voice their ridicule to her were met with some form of, 'Fuck off'. [break][break]
The larvitar, who she started to call Asta after growing tired of calling him 'thing' or 'dummy', eventually followed her home more times than one until she eventually caved in. This stupid, overly friendly, useless rock monster was her problem now, whether she liked it or not. Although not the most 'heroic' nor interesting of tales, that was how Vivian and Asta came to be. And for the years following, they'd been together ever since.[break][break]
Asta now is...pretty much the same as he was back then. Friendly, overwhelmingly affectionate...maybe even cute? He's someone who Vivian looks at as her, 'closest friend,' despite her sometimes harsh or hostile mannerisms toward him. No, she truly does treasure him immensely. Really, her mother once tried to use the larvitar in a bet for a gamble, and lost. After a huge fight between her and her daughter, Vivian willingly left the house with her pokemon in tow, living out on their own devices for nearly two weeks...mostly as a big middle finger towards her mom. Still, the 'tough shit' she and Asta have endured isn't any laughing matter, and Vivian knows that, despite her cruelty. Despite how gritty their relationship can seem, its still clear that they have a very close connection and understanding of one another that's difficult to describe with words, if not impossible. [break][break]
