Move List[attr="class","plist"] N/A- - - | ABILITY[attr="class","plist"] CHLOROPHYLLWhen exposed to great and powerful sunlight, Fluffee is able to move faster. So long as this sunlight is a condition in the battle, this ability is active. |
[attr="class","plist2"] Giga DrainGiga Drain is performed through Fluffee's 'cotton,' as opposed to roots like other grass pokémon. By shedding a small piece of her natural cotton, the discarded cotton can drain vitality on contact, restoring Fluffee's own vitality by half of the drained total. This drain restores her via a green light, shaped like a beam that guides itself towards Fluffee. The cotton can only drain for one action before it falls off, unable to be used again, or placed back with Fluffee's cotton. If Fluffee is in contact with another pokemon, Giga Drain can be performed through that touch, but some cotton will fall off anyway. [break][break] Solar BeamFluffee spends a stationary action absorbing the sun's rays, which is followed by releasing that energy in a large, golden, powerful beam that shakes the Earth the next action, fired from a small, golden ball in front of her mouth. While charging, Fluffee starts to glow with a golden light, and when fully charged, has a noticably visible, but not glaring glow. When fired, it grows in size, obscuring Fluffee's field of view. If asleep, finched, trapped, or frozen, the charging is paused. Powerful sunlight allows instant firing of solar beam, but the move is unusable for two actions. Hail, fog, or sandstorm weather conditions weaken this move. This move can be used indoors. [break][break] GrowthThrough a mustering of energy and will, Fluffee can grow in size for the duration of a battle, becoming noticeably larger. When this move is used, her bouncing turns from its usual soft sound to loud stomping, as her size grows, then shrinks quickly in a short cycle, before becoming larger. After using this move, her offensive power increases on all fronts. In the presence of powerful sunlight, when this move is used, its effect is doubled. [break][break] Sunny DayA bright, golden light erupts from Fluffee, launching itself into the sky. In the presence of natural sunlight, this golden light creates a lens high in the sky that magnifies the sun's rays, or while indoors, creates its own solar light source, in the image of the sun. The 'Harsh Sunlight' weather condition is active for five posts in the current battle, even while indoors. Effects that are triggered by this or similar conditions are enabled, including, but is not limited to; fire type moves rising in power, water type moves reducing in power, and Solar Beam not requiring an action to charge before firing. [break][break] MoonblastAlthough a captured pokémon, Flufee often sleeps outside of her pokéball, often in the moon's rays. After near two decades of sleeping in the moonlight, she has absorbed enough lunar energy to perform Moonblast. The image of the moon appears above Fluffee as a ball of pink energy forms in front of her. A moment later, this energy is fired at the target, which causes the 'moon' to disappear as the pokemon is covered in blue light. If it strikes another pokemon, it deals damage, and any non-physical offensive moves used by that pokemon are weakened for the rest of the battle. [break][break] PsychicAfter watching a documentary on the abra line of pokémon, Layla came to the conclusion that intelligence was the most important aspect of a pokémon, and started making Fluffee play brain-training games on the computer in order to make her as smart as a Kadabra. While Fluffee didn't get any smarter, she did learn how to use psychic! A pink aura radiates from Fluffee before this move is used, as well as her eyes turning into the same colour. When unleashed, as a short dome of energy, anyone who comes into contact with the energy suffers damage and suffers a chance of their nonphysical offensive moves becoming less effective for the rest of the battle. |

Fluffee and Layla are an inseparable duo; there is rarely a memory in Layla's mind that fluffy pokémon isn't present in. Her best friend, and closest companion. When you think of one, you think of the other. She was her pokémon before she was even born, and the family's loyal watchdog whenever she was in her cot. The fluffball never let the young, pink-haired girl out of her sight, often sleeping in her bed to make sure she was safe.[break][break]
While the cotton ball is as brave as any other pokémon, without Layla around, she melts into an anxious mess. Blubbering, quivering, and petrified of the world around her, she has been uncomfortable ever since she moved with the family to Sinnoh. Layla reminds the little cotton ball of home, which keeps her going. But without her trainer, she's as scared as a 3-year-old lost in a supermarket. [break][break]
Around Layla, she puts on a brave face, her love for her trainer helping the fluff become a fierce watchdog. Even amid a match, she keeps an eye on her trainer, to make sure she's safe. It's to the point where she would disobey a command if she thought it would be in Layla's best interest to do so. She has worked tirelessly with Layla to improve each other, and whether it started through her original determined nature, or out of the care she has for her trainer, there are very few things she would not do for her.[break][break]
Fluffee, physically, is unremarkable among Cottonee. Average height, average weight, average appearance, maybe a bit fluffier than the norm, but that is debatable. She is a textbook cottonee, although not for remarkable reasons.
You're my Best Friend,
in a world we must defend!~
