The Pokemon League of Sinnoh Elite Academy Trainer graduates are the movers and shakers of the Pokemon World. Few gym leaders, Elites, and frontier brains have earned their position without a certification from an Elite Academy. After receiving your acceptance letter to Sinnoh Elite Academy, it’s your turn to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Elite Academy is a statless, literate Pokemon college role play. Students are limited to one Pokemon at the start and may gain more as they progress. We strive to create a literate, collaborative, creative environment where people respect one another and have fun.

Members are allowed 2 CHARACTERS TO START with. Every additional character beyond the second requires at least 30 posts on each account.

Character Requirements

Be tasteful. We are a PG-13 site with members of different races, cultures, orientations, abilities, and identities, as well as members who are not neurotypical.

Characters must be 18 or older. As they are attending a certification program in a college-like institution, the average student age is 20-25.

Characters can only start with One Starter Pokemon. Find the starter rules and available Pokemon to claim here! (You can purchase Academy Rental Pokemon through the site shop here!)

Characters can be first years, second years, third years, or fourth years. No matter how long they have enrolled in SEA, characters must adhere to the Pokemon guidelines mentioned above, for fairness.

Characters are allowed to have weak supernatural powers in line with those depicted in the Pokemon canon.

Applications that mention supernatural elements, such as legendary Pokemon encounters or psychic abilities, will be subject to greater scrutiny.[break][break]
Face Claims must be an animanga style. FCs from cartoons like Steven Universe or Gravity Falls are acceptable so long as the style of the art used is animanga. To make sure your FC isn't being used, check out the FC thread here!

Please use quality graphics on your application. Avoid small images that have been enlarged and images with JPEG artifacts.
