The Pokemon League of Sinnoh Elite Academy Trainer graduates are the movers and shakers of the Pokemon World. Few gym leaders, Elites, and frontier brains have earned their position without a certification from an Elite Academy. After receiving your acceptance letter to Sinnoh Elite Academy, it’s your turn to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Elite Academy is a statless, literate Pokemon college role play. Students are limited to one Pokemon at the start and may gain more as they progress. We strive to create a literate, collaborative, creative environment where people respect one another and have fun.

the thornes are renowned as powerhouses of the contest scene (especially in their home region: hoenn) their specialities ranging from from breeding top-class contest pokemon to boasting a number of chamption coordinators with the family name. francis was raised to fill some very big shoes indeed, but while he played along with their wishes until adulthood, it was clear to francis that his passions lay elsewhere. he found his love for battling at an underground fighting club. once his parents found out, though, the pokemon he'd secretly acquired were confiscated whilst francis was to think over his actions. [break][break] it was then francis got word of his acceptance into the sinnoh elite academy. he was allowed to enter on the condition he take as his starter a pokemon his parents had selected for him. he received a feebas specially bred for contests by the family, much to his dismay. still, he's determined to make his name at the academy no matter how difficult it seems. [break][break]
[attr="class","glassthing"]FRIENDS
despite giving off an aura that says otherwise, francis is a relatively easy-going guy. he loves acompetition, and sees rivals as a welcome challenge, rather than a threat. his days as an underground fighter exposed him to a variety of battle styles, but francis is always looking to experience more. he's not always about battling though; casual company's appreciated, so long as they don't annoy him. likes his friendships to be simple and straightforward, but knows things don't always work that way. [break][break]
[attr="class","glassthing"]ENEMIES
francis' honesty, while refreshing to some, can often offend others. used to a world where he's expected to say simply what makes him come off well has made francis tired of filters. he may acknowledge he's bound to run into those who know of, and admire, his family, but anyone who judges him based on the thorne name alone will find themselves in his bad books. having been raised around them all his life, francis has grown sick of coordinators. or, at least, what he's assumed all coordinators to be: frivolous, superficial people. there will be people who prove him wrong, but anyone who comes off as a more "charming" type immediately sets off warning bells. has probably fustrated some classmates he's been paired up, thanks to his less than impressive pokemon.[break][break]
[attr="class","glassthing"]ROMANCES
likes people who impress him, however they manage to do so. it drives him to work harder. i'm a sucker for romance plots but haven't thought too much on this. want things to happen on a chemistry basis but feel free to hit me up with any ideas, i'm open!

JESUS WAS A TALKER, JUST SOME OUT-OF-PLACE NEW YORKER
The album begins with the protagonist, Nikki, in a hospital. He lies in a near catatonic state, unable to remember anything but snippets from his past. Suddenly, Nikki's memories come flooding back in a torrent. He remembers how, as a heroin addict and would-be political radical frustrated with contemporary society due to the economic inequality, corruption, and hypocrisy around him, he was manipulated into joining a supposed secret organization dedicated to revolution. At the head of this organization is a mysterious political and religious demagogue known only as Dr. X, who manipulates Nikki through a combination of his heroin addiction and brainwashing techniques to become an assassin.[break][break]
[attr="class","glassthing"]ENEMIES
Whenever Dr. X uses the word "mindcrime", Nikki becomes his docile puppet, a state which Dr. X uses to command Nikki to undertake any murder that the Doctor wishes. Through one of Dr. X's probable associates, a corrupt priest named Father William, Nikki is offered the services of a prostitute-turned-nun named Sister Mary. Through his friendship and growing affection toward Sister Mary, Nikki begins to question the nature of what he is doing, seeing that Dr. X has his own nefarious agenda. Dr. X takes notice and, seeing a potential threat in Mary to his cult of personality, orders Nikki to kill both her and the priest. Nikki goes to Mary's church and kills the priest, but, after confronting Mary, he fails to comply with the command to murder her. He and Mary decide to leave the organization together, and Nikki goes to Dr. X to tell him that they are out. Dr. X, however, reminds Nikki that he is an addict, and that he is the one who can provide him with his daily fix. Nikki leaves, conflicted and uncertain, and he returns to Mary only to find her dead.[break][break]
[attr="class","glassthing"]ROMANCES
Nikki cannot cope with the loss, as well as the possibility that he himself may have killed her without knowing it (whether her death occurred at his hand or at the hand of someone else such as Dr. X is left deliberately ambiguous), and he begins to succumb to insanity. He runs through the streets calling her name. The police arrive and attempt to subdue him. A gun is found on Nikki, and they take him into custody under suspicion of Mary's murder and the murders he committed for Dr. X. Suffering from an almost complete loss of memory, Nikki is put into a mental hospital, where he sees a news report on the recent spree of political homicides. This jogs his memory and returns us to the beginning where he remembers what has happened and begins to tell his story.

Dante and @francis
Ok so like these two should totes be battle buddies. Hell they could instantly just become well meaning friends through a bit of rough-housing. Prince would totally bully poor Sal though uwu Even tho their fellow water pokemon. Dante could serve as a good outlet for Francis to air out his frustration as he would feel a bit bad about the guy's predicament. While probably nothing more than a metaphorical shoulder to cry on and an ear to lend Dante can sure as hell try to cheer him up with a quick battle. Perhaps maybe some time at the gym just to work off the stress too maybe?
I'm probably prattling on and on but yeah, I can see these two being some great battle buddies and I hope you do too <3
[break]i love it! gym buds here we go. francis would have a lot to complain about, he's very fustrated wih his current situation, and would definitely appreciate dante trying to help him out. he'd probably rope dante into helping him out with training sal, since he doesn't think he'd judge him too much for his pokemon. maybe they met early on in term and just hit it off from there? francis likes things chill, and dante seems to be as chill as they get, so i can see him seeking out his company often.[break][break]they both have a sorta "family business" and i think at times francis might envy dante for wanting and being able to carry on the family tradition, even when the pressure on him wasn't anywhere close to what the thornes did. he probably loves prince tbh, he's the sort of pokemon he'd love to have himself. basically yeah these two are gonna be best bros for sure.
