The Pokemon League of Sinnoh Elite Academy Trainer graduates are the movers and shakers of the Pokemon World. Few gym leaders, Elites, and frontier brains have earned their position without a certification from an Elite Academy. After receiving your acceptance letter to Sinnoh Elite Academy, it’s your turn to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Elite Academy is a statless, literate Pokemon college role play. Students are limited to one Pokemon at the start and may gain more as they progress. We strive to create a literate, collaborative, creative environment where people respect one another and have fun.

We just wrapped up our first Activity Check! As we move forward, the Fall Festival event will be up a while longer. Anticipate some exciting changes coming soon. Thanks for sticking with us!
If you have any concerns, questions, or suggestions for the site, don't be afraid to send any of that to Fox or Lyro. We're always improving!
Soon after signing up for the event, each participant was given a pristine bright orange 5 pound pumpkin for their pokemon to hold. The instructions were clear, protect the pumpkin while using whatever means necessary to destroy the opponent's or force them to drop it. Losing contact with the pumpkin for any reason also results in immediate defeat, so be careful not to let it slip! With the instructions given the participants are ushered to one of the many smaller arenas the usually much larger battlefield had been broken up into for the event[break][break]
The designated area ha been marked with chalk, the lines looking mechanical and pristine despite behind hand drawn by the event staff. The rectangular battlefield is only about as long as a basketball's half-court is half as wide. It seems that with so many participants today they've had to shrink the fields considerably in order to make sure everyone fits! Despite the number of battles taking place around you there is a fairly decent crowd that has gathered around to watch these promising students go head to head. There's a cool autumn breeze blowing and the sun shining bright, but nothing major enough that it should have too much impact on the ongoing battles. [break][break]

Prince was just ecstatic about today as he held the pumpkin above his head and did a little dance around the battlefield. Dante was surprised honestly, Prince did love to battle that was no doubt a fact. He was just unsure if he would agree to what he assumed was a handicap for this. Holding a vegetable and not letting it get smashed while fighting? Surely even the most promising of Pokemon would find that a bit hard to accommodate right? It wasn't like it was a held item or anything, or was it? THey were holding it after all. "Hey bud remember, keep it safe and don't lose it. And no don't use it to smash onto people's heads, that's clearly against the rules. I think." Well he assumed it was just common sense to not break the thing over someone's head.
The Buizel looked back at his trainer with a confident look, showing that he understood what he had to do. WIN. He had to win and that was all there was to it. So he turned his attention to his opponent, a small little thing who looked like they might have trouble keeping the pumpkin off the ground. A grin appeared on his face as he thoought about how easy this fight was going to be and let out a loud "Bui!" at the other Pokemon to ensure they knew that he was going to come out on top in this fight.

skipping heartbeats,
Boulette… seemed far too excited for a Pokémon that weighed an average two pounds.
Betsy had tried to talk the Igglybuff out of it, the whole weight thing acting as the base of her argument, but Boulette would not be phased. Could not be phased, more like, and thus Betsy was forced to bring her to this… vulgar event. She’d rather be doing something more ladylike—something that would not ruin her Pokémon’s fur.
She sighed and crossed her arms. “Okay, darling, just do your best.” Of course, Betsy would still support Boulette with the vigor of a competitive soccer mom, and perhaps that was what the Pokémon needed most out of the match. Boulette puffed up and flexed her small, nubby arms.
Betsy didn’t really know how she managed to do that.
It seemed that Boulette had been planning some sort of plan of attack from the start; she rolled the pumpkin onto its side and hopped on top of it, precariously balancing on its lumpy shell. She then looked at her opponent, a confident Buizel with a smug look on its face, and focused her wide, red eyes. “Igglybuff!” she retaliated. Boulette may have been little, but she was as fierce as any other macho Pokémon in the ring!
(Betsy discreetly pulled out a pair of pink pompoms from her purse. At least she was right about bringing those to the match.)

The igglybuff returned Prince's intimidation in kind, that signaled the starting bell in the Buizel's mind as he lowered himself ready for an attack. "Use Aqua Jet!" Dante could read his partner's body language perfectly and knew that he was gearing up for the first strike in this battle. So he might as well go along with it and start being a trainer, he just needed to make sure that he took careful notice of Prince's little vegetable and make sure the little sea weseal didn't break it or anything. Sounded simple enough in his head.
With a roar Prince sprinted forward holding the pumpkin under his armpit, as he ran water erupted around his body and he shot forward in a stream of it. With his twin tails spinning around he guided his rocketing self towards the pumpkin of the enemy. He was going to crush that thing headfirst at the speed of rushing water!
